It is possible that you are being too aggressive in starting your exercise routine. 4 weeks is a little early to start with anything more than walking. I would recommend you see your plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns. It may be best to give your body another month of healing before advancing your routine.

At this point in time, there is not much to be done but to wait for further healing. Bruised and traumatized nerves can sometimes take 3-4 months to recover, and possibly longer. Please follow up with your surgeon as scheduled.
